Almuerzo – Good Lunch Choice in Puerto Lopez #AtoZChallenge
On main street, Comedor Maritza serves delicious $3 Almuerzo, prix fixe lunch.
Choose a soup, then a meat, served with salad, rice, beans and juice. Yum!

$3 is such a bargain for that much food and drink! I can't recall getting any food that cheap when we went to Ecuador, but there were definitely food bargains to be had. I wish produce in the U.S. were as inexpensive as it is in Ecuador.

I know! The price just can't be beat! Not all restaurants offer an almuerzo option and some that do can be as high as $6 so it pays to ask around. Produce prices in the US always surprise me when I visit, even though I know I should expect them to be higher.
